Thank you for stopping by, you are up for a treat today with this amazing heritage plantation wedding. This was a gorgeous day, with perfect weather for the wedding. Beautiful colors and greenery with a giant live oak tree as a centerpiece for the ceremony. Kay and Josh live in Myrtle Beach, but their family live in different parts of the country, they all came together at the Heritage Plantation in Pawley’s island to celebrate Kay and Josh’s wedding. I met with this lovely couple back in Spring when we did their engagement photos, makes sure to check it out here “Kay and Josh’s Engagement” if you haven’t seen it yet.
We were really concerned about the weather the whole week before the wedding, but in the end, everything came together and it was amazing. Every corner of the venue was filled with beautiful details really showing the traditional southern style of the venue. Kay rocked her amazing Justin Alexander wedding gown, made by the Little White dress Boutique, she was also wearing her high heels shoes that were a gift from Josh.
I was really excited to shoot this wedding, it was the first time that I shot about twenty percent of the wedding on film, and I just love the final outcome, that light, and airy look. What an amazing venue for a wedding, a Heritage Plantation Wedding!
I would like to give a huge “Thank-you” to all the vendors who made this day go by so smooth.
