Whether you’re newly engaged, planning a surprise proposal, or celebrating an anniversary, your session should feel like the two of you. As Myrtle Beach engagement photographers, Victor and Lyra create relaxed, natural images for couples along the Grand Strand and in Charleston.
Before your session, we help you choose a location that fits your story and the look you want—from open beaches and marsh views to gardens, live oaks, and historic architecture. We’ll also plan around the best light, help coordinate outfits, and share practical guidance about timing, crowds, weather, and location requirements.
During the session, you’ll receive clear direction without stiff posing. Simple movement and prompts make the experience comfortable and create genuine expressions. Bring your dog, a favorite drink, a meaningful hobby, or another detail that makes the photos personal.
Engagement sessions can be booked on their own or paired with wedding coverage. We photograph couples in Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, Pawleys Island, Charleston, and throughout the Carolinas, and we are always available to travel.

Our Favorite Locations
Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand area offer an enormous variety of backdrops for the Engagement photography session, from the cotton fields of Conway, South Carolina, it’s beautiful beaches, and century old rice plantations spread throughout the area. We certainly have unlimited options on where to photograph.
Here are the few of our favorite locations in the area:
Myrtle Beach state park – offers a beautiful beach with a pier and a park with nice greenery.
Upper Mill Plantation in Conway – Located right on a Waccamaw river, features old live oak Trees with Spanish moss, also in the fall we have an opportunity to go in the cotton fields.
Caledonia Golf and Fish club – a Magnificent place with so much traditional southern charm.
Magnolia Plantation and Gardens – One of our most favorite places to photograph, with one of the oldest plantations in South Carolina with beautiful bridges, flowers everywhere, bamboo forest, and so much more.
Huntington Beach State Park – Offers gorgeous beaches, marshes and a castle.
Mansfield Plantation - One of the oldest plantations in South Carolina, currently operates as a bed and breakfast. Absolutely a fairytale setting.
