Ashley and Daniil, a Magnolia Plantation Wedding. June 3rd, 2015

Magnolia Plantation and Gardens is hands down one of my favorite places to shoot weddings in the Myrtle Beach and Charleston area, and I was really excited to meet this couple all the way from New Jersey.

Ashley and Daniil are a Destination Wedding couple from Vineland, New Jersey. They have chosen to get married at one the prettiest and oldest Plantation in Charleston South Carolina. Magnolia Plantation and Gardens is a truly magical place filled with old growth, gorgeous live oak trees, amazing architecture bridges, flowers and so much more.

Ashley and Daniil met at Pharmacy school. Daniil is originally from the Ukraine and was brought to the country when he was a kid, so it was no surprise that their wedding was filled with Ukrainian traditions and songs.

The Magnolia Plantation Wedding ceremony was held on the lawn right in front of a the famous White bridge of Magnolia Gardens. The weather was a big concern on the wedding day, and there was so much rain on the morning of the ceremony the whole place was literally flooded. Fortunately, a  couple hours before the ceremony was to start, the sun came out and it turned out to be a gorgeous day.

The reception followed at the veranda of the main plantation house, one of the best wedding reception venues in Charleston, South Carolina. Between the amazing greenery on the background and peacocks walking around the house, it was truly a surreal, beautiful event.
