The Governor Thomas Bennett House, Wedding

The Governor Thomas Bennett House wedding. Cate and Matt, March 3, 2018

Cate and Matts’s wedding was hands down one of our favorite weddings to date. The event took place at the amazingly gorgeous setting of the Governor Thomas Bennet house in downtown Charleston South Carolina. The house was built in 1825 and was home to the Governor of South Carolina at the time Thomas Bennett. House filled with history and southern charm of historic Charleston downtown; it makes a perfect venue for the weddings. Cate and Matt are from Atlanta, but they fell in love with this place, and for them, there were no other options but to get married in The Governor Thomas Bennett House in Charleston South Carolina.

The weather was gorgeous on the day of the wedding, it was a bit chilly in the evening, but with an ultimate entertainment by Emerald Empire Band the dance floor was never empty. All the guest sure did have a blast. Cate put a lot of thoughts and planning in every single detail of the wedding. During the ceremony, the ceremony aisle had Pineapple decorative features, which are one of the symbols of Charleston. Anna Bella Florals carefully crafted floral arrangements. Stunning and Brilliant events were coordinating the day of the wedding, and with them, you know everything will be spectacular.

Our team was thrilled to be able to capture Matt and Cates wedding day, and we took a lot of amazing photos. Please take a look at a few of our favorites.
